Wednesday 14th September
A very happy H came home from preschool, with a fishing rod, a crown adorned with beautiful autumnal found objects, and a box of ‘special things’ for her new fairy door. This we were given as a late present by amazing Bec, and the girls spent a wonderful afternoon in the late summer september sun creating a magical fairy door and garden at the foot of our ancient oak tree. (Sounds idyllic – but just to fill in the details – we were supposed to be trying out a nearby ballet class but H catapaulted down the bank of the stream on the way home from school, her bike landing in the stream and her luckily just on the bank. A bit of a breath stopper for a moment. M is so tired she doesnt know what to do with herself. So icecreams and fairy doors and a picnic tea were the order of the afternoon and very pleasant it was too!
