Sunday 13th November
M made us all proud by joining the Remembrance Day parade as a Beaver for the first time for our family. Very moving and special. Service by the memorial outside the Village Hall, then paraded on to the school for a special service and crafts there to understand a bit more about what it is all commemorating. To think that Grandpa set off for France on D-day from somewhere around here….
Home for lunch and downtime, then off to meet Christina at Manor Farm Park. Heimdall had a ball, as did the girls. Beautiful sunshine through the trees and we had a wonderful catch-up and wander down to the river and back via the playground.
Finished the day with tea service and St Pauls. All good. Just a shame Daddy is having to work so very hard:-(
